We just posted about this earlier, but here’s the article on CFT. I’m in the “this makes no sense” camp, especially 6 years down the road. I’d rather see a game against USF or UCF. Fans from Boise are not traveling to Tallahassee. Fans in Orlando and Tampa would travel to Tallahassee. Boise might be a quality opponent in 2019 but I don’t see this helping game day revenues.

Fans of attractive non-conference games — and why wouldn’t you be? — we bring you good news.
Florida State announced in a release on Monday that the Seminoles have agreed to play Boise State in a home-and-home in 2019 and 2020. The first game is scheduled to take place at FSU in September with a return date to Boise the following year.
“We are very excited to add Boise State to our future football schedule,” said Florida State Athletic Director Randy Spetman in a statement. “Boise State has an excellent football program and we feel this will be an out of conference game that will be exciting for fans of both schools and appealing to TV networks.”
